Gustafson, Dorothy Deaton
Apr 12, 2018She was born December 2, 1950 in Baton Rouge, LA, to J. C. and Esther Haefele (Fussell). Dorothy received her Master's in Dietetics from Louisiana Tech and Undergraduate from USL in Lafayette. She retired from Aramark after 20 years of service. After retirement she spent the last year with Madeline and Ava, who called her "Grammy." She loved taking care of her family. Survivors include her husband of 17 years, John Gustafson; daughter, Ginny Hundley and her husband John Paul; two granddaughters, Madeline and Ava; brother, Thomas Fussell and his wife Ruth; numerous nieces and nephews; cousin, Lina Fussell and longtime friend Gay Bishop. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Buddy Fussell. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1pm Saturday, April 7, 2018, in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.
